cherry was on her way to baler, aurora. they took the mountain route.

the clouds was really low (or they were really just high in the mountains) and a second before pressing the shutter the kids just popped up.

this was taken at bay inn in baler, aurora. the inn is facing the pacific. strong waves too.

i like flickr. i really do. its a great service and if i can get enough disposable income per year i’ll certainly opt to go pro. if. but until then i have to “improvise” a little and “make do” with the show-only-200-recent-photos limit. don’t get me wrong. in a free account, there is no limit to the number of photos that you can upload. the rub is you can only see the 200 most recent photos. you just don’t see listed photos older than the 200 most recent. upgrading to a pro account will enable you to see all your photos.

i have some pretty nice pictures that went into what they call “flickr limbo” and i have a handful of recent photos that doesn’t need to be there. so i had to download and delete some of those recent photos just to get access to the older ones.

to prevent my other photos from going into flick limbo, i decided to save the links to some of my older flickr photos in blog posts here (i’ll tag them flickr). they may not be visible at flickr but i would still have links to them.

in the yard: the garden was getting to be a virtual forest. bugs and bugs aplenty. this one just came out and was stretching its wings. (taken 2006.07.21)

ateneo marker: this is a new marker of ateneo de san pablo located at one side of sampaloc lake. i spent four years studying in ateneo before it closed and i had to move to manila.

my girlfriend found this cozy little restaurant in liliw laguna. the resto is at the first floor. (taken 2006.04.13)

arabela chairs: there are tables in chairs outside the resto. if it wasn’t so hot that day we would have stayed outside.

arabela counter: the resto is small. the ceiling is low. it sits only about 28 people inside which adds to its cozyness. the dessert “case” is on the right. increadible desserts.

arabela inside: this is the left side of the resto. beyond the door on the left is the kitchen. the place is airconditioned and cool. and the food is great. they have a variety of wines to choose from.

the underground cemetery

cemetery entrance: this is the entrance to the underground cemetery in nagcarlan, laguna taken from within the compound. (taken: 2006.04.13)

cemetery chapel: this is the cemetery chapel. it used to be a church. on both sides are the wall of graves. to get to the underground cemetery you have go inside the chapel and decend two short flights of stairs.
