despite the fact that i felt a little sick this morning, i took a 4k ride to mendiola and back. i had to. my son needed a change of clothes for practice.
this gave me an opportunity to test the velo 8. nice little gadget for the price but i wouldn’t really trust the [...]

a friend of mine once asked me, “you’re not comfortable with silence, are you?”
i was babbling on and on about something inconsequential i think. the question was more of a statement than a real question and it gave me pause.
“no. i’m not.”, came my reply. she just nodded.
that one question got me started on how [...]

my apologies to microsoft but i just found it funny.
internet explorer 8 — the next iteration of ms’ browser — has three rendering modes which means it can show you a page in three different ways.
wow. a schizoid browser. finally.
as far as i am concerned there’s only a single standard for html/css and [...]

i recently found out that a “lost” friend of mine has migrated to canada. she left last year.
half of my old friends have either left, will be leaving or are planning to leave for some other country.
i’m not angry. or mad. it just makes me sad. somehow i understand the reasons behind them packing up [...]

tinymce, the visual editor that came with wordpress 2.3.2 has a little trouble with html tables. i made a couple of tables in my html editor, copy and pasted the code into the wordpress page editor, in code mode of course. when i saved the page only the first row of the tables came out [...]

tool geek. i am. i swear. such a tool geek.
and lito would agree with me.
i always believe that one should use the proper tool for the application especially the mechanical kind. if not then one risks more damage to the item being repaired or fixed which would lead to more expense. and spending more [...]

my brother turns fourty today.
but yes, he’s right. i sometimes think that there’s this great big book — “how to behave at your age” — which i missed reading when i was in grade school. and these days, some people still have this preconceived notion that you’re suppose to look and act as appropriate for [...]

it started about a couple of months ago. my electricity bill went down by almost a thousand pesos per month. that is pretty big. you can buy lots of stuff with 1k. and the only thing that i did was stop using my desktop computer. seriously.
for the record, my desktop is an [...]
